Geo Pop Canvas + Essex Linen = Cargo Duffle Perfection

I originally fell hard for the Cargo Duffle by Noodlehead when we first had it made for a Carolyn Friedlander Quilt Market booth a few years ago. To see Geo Pop all sewn up in this version, by the the lovely Andrea of Knitty Bitties, is kind of a fabric designer "right of passage" for me. It sounds silly but it's true. I love that Andrea chose to mix it up with two different Essex Linen blues and for the base used a more textured Essex Linen Yarn Dyed. These choices manage to tone down the more graphic qualiities of Geo Pop diamond pattern offering just the right amount of balance between the the two fabrics.
