SHC continues to design all creative assets for Robert Kaufman's brand including print, web and app ads. Robert Kaufman Fabrics is an industry leader selling to quilt and "sewist" fabric retailers and apparel/accessory manufacturers worldwide. Under the Robert Kaufman Co. umbrella SHC has designed creative collateral for such quality brands as Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Girl Scouts of America, Ann Kelle Designs, Print & Pattern, and Suzy Ultman.

Emmie is also a signature artist for Robert Kaufman Fabrics and Deny Designs. Her designs are sold under the name Emmie K and the first two fabric collections for Robert Kaufman Co., Geo Pop Canvas I & II, were released to wholesale buyers in 2014 and 2015. The newest collection, titled Lou Lou, is a quilting cotton collection of fabrics released January 2018 to wholesale buyers and will be available to the public July 2018. Emmie's patterns can also be found on various products via Deny Designs. These products are available for wholesale and retail sales.
Emmie holds a Textile Design degree from Moore College of Art and Design. Emmie found her passion for fabric design when she enrolled in her first print design class as a student in college. She eventually graduated with a degree in Textile Design from Moore College of Art and Design and, later, became Creative Director of Marketing for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. There, she was proud to be part of a team that furthered the Robert Kaufman brand, over the course of thirteen years, into one of the top three fabric brands recognized and preferred by wholesale manufacturers and quilting enthusiasts worldwide. When Emmie fell for her husband Harry, she moved from Los Angeles to Philadelphia to start a family. In 2011, Emmie started her own graphic design and branding firm, Silver Hollow Creative, which Robert Kaufman employs for all of its branding assets, booth design and merchandising support. In early 2014, Emmie was inspired to revisit her love of print design and began creating original fabric collections, the first of which, Geo Pop Canvas, debuted in Fall 2014, fulfilling Emmie’s long time dream. When asked how she approaches her designs, Emmie explains, “I find satisfaction and joy in the challenge of completing a ‘design puzzle,’ whether it be for graphic design or textile print design. Being a part of the retail fabric industry for so many years, I have a keen eye for what sewists, designers and store owners want to see. I am drawn to clean design, abstract, geometric and sometimes more organic shapes. Naturally, I am also very inspired by the patterns produced within the modern quilt movement.” Emmie now lives outside Philadelphia in Haddonfield, NJ with Harry and their two beautiful children, Isaiah and Zoe. When she’s not busy designing fabrics, displays, or graphics, Emmie can be found hanging out with her family on her side porch.
